Experiencing postpartum depression or unmanageable anxiety? Are you walking through infertility, or are you noticing unwanted changes due to menopause?
You’re in the right place.
Find Hope Through Therapy for Women in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Surrounding Areas
The Practice is a compassionate space for women experiencing the hardships of everything from pregnancy and motherhood to menopause and loss. As a mental health therapist for women, I have worked with women in every stage of life.
I invite you to come feel seen and deeply cared for at The Practice. Whether you’re facing crippling postpartum anxiety and depression, feeling burnt out from wearing all of the hats, or you don’t even recognize or love the woman looking back at you in the mirror—our services are tailored to meet your mental health needs as a woman.
Allow us to walk alongside you as you work through life transitions whether it is a career shift, caring for aging parents, or grief and loss. You do not need to navigate this by yourself.
Family, friends, and co-workers will all carry different expectations for you and your life. We can help you implement healthy boundaries and support you as you discover how friction and misunderstanding can be used to promote stronger relational dynamics.
The unknown can hold many unexpected highs and lows. While navigating the road of infertility, you deserve to have someone in your corner, an outlet to express the many feelings and emotions you are experiencing.
All of these things are layers to a greater story of womanhood, motherhood, and the hormonal changes that come with time, pregnancy, and age. Having a trusted therapist to help you gain insight into the depression and anxiety, guide you through new life seasons, and offer coping strategies as you grieve are all incredibly beneficial to your growth and ability to process and function outside of the four walls of therapy.
During a Visit to The Practice
Intake Process
Once we’ve made initial contact, I will send an intake questionnaire form for you to fill out prior to our first session together. This can be an intimidating process for anyone, especially when you are in the trenches. I want to remind you that this is a comfortable and nonjudgmental space for you to be the real you.
During a Visit to The Practice
a Brighter Future
Once we’ve worked through your intake form and first session, we’ll set up a plan. Often, I see women at least once a week, but scheduling will be discussed based on your needs! This is a time to really put in the work to see the results and develop the skills to overcome challenging life circumstances.
I hold space for women to feel like they can breathe again, allowing the tension and overwhelm of the years prior to melt away.
Here, you will feel seen because you matter. You’ll experience a deepened understanding of your value and will walk out my doors with a newly discovered confidence in your own skin, decisions, and dreams.
I bring over 25 years of experience to the table with clinical skills and trauma-informed practices—allowing you to work through your past, present, and future. My goal is to see you through while empowering and encouraging you to make the necessary changes to experience hope for your future.
As women, we thrive on connection and are worthy of compassion. You don’t have to continue going through the motions of life, unhappy and unfulfilled.
Together, we will uncover your authentic self, heal past trauma, and learn to cope with present stressors, giving you the freedom to enjoy your family, friends, work, and life.
We tend to carry the weight of the world as a mom, wife, daughter, or friend. Whether it is motherhood, caring for aging parents, keeping all the plates spinning in the household, or burnout from a full-time career—mental health therapy for women can help you work through the challenging season you are facing with a new perspective, evidence-based strategies, and compassion. You can expect to walk away from therapy feeling supported, understood, and seen.
Yes! I am a postpartum therapist, and new moms are near and dear to my heart. Our society has done us no favors with the support offered to new mothers during an incredibly sensitive time of healing and bonding. I offer anxiety and depression therapy to help give you resources and tools to experience hope when it feels impossible on your own.
Yes, I do. I am trained to work with women by providing infertility and grief counseling and holistically supporting your mental health and wellbeing during times of devastating loss, deep frustration, and unexplainable sadness.
At this time, we are in network with Atnea, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Quest Behavioral. We can also provide a “superbill” to submit to your insurance provider if they can accept these types of receipts. My sessions start at
$95 for a 30 minute session and $175 for a 50 minute session.
